my emotions have certainly been pushed to their breaking point this week, and I’m rather exhausted because of it. However, I feel more hopeful for the future right now than I have in a long time. I have so much to look forward to and I have someone amazing to look forward to it all with. Somehow, I know everything will be ok.

This morning I woke up and it was freezing in my room. It became a battle between the evil villain Open Window and the valiant hero Warm Blanket. Eventually, Open Window won out because I had to get up for work…but thanks to my constant practice as a child, I managed to get to the foot of my bed, grab the spare blanket, wrap it around me and get out of bed without ever being without a warm...
