It’s thursday. and I actually have to be productive.
suck.
I’ve been struggling for days to make a poster for the karaoke/trivia night this Friday…
One design after another I scrap and start over. I couldn’t get it right. I kept trying to just make “a good poster”… then I just stopped this morning. deleted all the files related to it and thought ok, how would I actually do this if I didn’t think about it too much?
I grabbed a piece of paper next to me and drew everything out, scanned that junk in and had a pretty ballin poster in about 30 minutes. no problems.
Why do I insist on over-complicating things so much? …gah.
This poster series is incredible. They’re all mainly social commentary and what not, but it’s done so well. You’ll have to excuse the language and what not, but these posters couldn’t go unshared
The impact of the poster is undeniable, and a series of posters have the ability to multiply the impact and further the story. Immediately drawn by the title series of this exhibition I really liked what I found: a guttural reaction alongside great graphics and delicious use of color. But best of all, I get a glimpse of the man behind the show and his struggle to find his place in a new home.

These posters, which “no one liked”, were designed by Safwat Saleem and you can either check out his personal site, or see more about the posters here
